Scout Applications
Any student 11 and up or has completed the 5th Grade is eligible to join at any time.  An application and a registration fee is all that is required.

Adult applications

Express your interest to the Troop leaders—the Scoutmaster, Committee Chairman, or other unit leaders. While there's no guarantee that a specific role or position will be available—and there may be a selection process among several candidates even if the position is currently vacant—there is usually some way in which you can contribute, and our unit will be glad for any offer of help.

Adults applying must interview with the senior leadership and complete a sponsor-assisted program before the committee can approve the application.  Fees to register are paid by the troop.  Adult applicants must agree to a background check as part of their application process.  Acceptance as a member is at the discretion of the Boy Scouts of America, Grovetown United Methodist Church, and Troop 108. For detailed information or to join Troop 108 as an adult volunteer, please contact Ed Shannon at 706-832-3089.
