The Gerald R. Ford Council is proud to participate in the Scouting for
Food Good Turn. Each March Cub Scout Packs, Boy Scout Troops, and
Venture Crew across twelve west Michigan counties go door to door to
collect non-perishable food items. These food items are then turned into
local food pantries, churches, and community organizations to be
redistributed to those that need it. Every year over 100,000 items are
collected and redistributed.
